Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Heads Will Roll (A-Trak Remix)

I don’t know how I forgot about the video for Yeah Yeah Yeahs‘ “Heads Will Roll” when I wrote my blurb about monsters and music videos. This stunning piece of video performance dating back to this year’s excellent full length, It’s Blitz!, features a wolf faced monster skilled in the art of gymnastics, light activated dance moves, and when the time is right, rolling heads with bloody confetti swirls. I suppose the song eludes to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ desire and ultimately inability, to break down the bourgeois tendencies of their spectator, and very well manicured, audiences.
